ITINERARY:
BANGKOK – KANCHANABURI - RIVER KWAI VILLAGE (-/L/D)
DAY 1 Early morning, pick up passengers from various Bangkok hotels and depart for Kanchanaburi. Visit to the Thailand-Burma Railway Center, an interactive museum, information and research facility dedicated to presenting the history of the Thailand-Burma Railway. The fully air-conditioned center offers the visitor an educational and moving experience. Continue to the War Cemetery, the final resting place for over 6,000 allied prisoners of war followed by a visit of the world famous Bridge over the River Kwai. Board the original Death Railway train to enjoy a journey through strikingly beautiful landscape passing over a dangerous-looking wooden bridge built along the mountainside by allied prisoners of war to Nam-Tok station, located on the border between Thailand and Myanmar. Check-in at the hotel. After lunch, take a short boat trip upstream to explore the Kaeng Lava Cave with its fantastic stone formations. Dinner and overnight at the RIVER KWAI VILLAGE HOTEL.
RIVER KWAI VILLAGE-BANGKOK (B/L/-)
DAY 2 Breakfast at the hotel. Spend the morning at leisure to relax or explore the surrounding area. After lunch at the hotel, transfer back to your hotel in Bangkok.

Not included are other meals than mentioned in the program, surcharges for compulsory gala dinners, optional tours, and expenditures of a personal nature.
Note: No pick up / drop off is provided from/to hotels on Rama 9 Road, Rachadapisek Road and Viphavadee Rangsit Road for guests booked on the seat-in-coach tour. Guests have the choice of either taking a local taxi to the general pick up point at Century Park Hotel or book a separate transfer with Diethelm Travel.
